Removing and installing front bumpers

Removing the front bumper
-Applies only to B4194T or B4204T engines: Remove the covers over the right and left headlamps
-Remove the turn signal lamp bulbs on the left and right-hand sides
-Remove screw A and the right and left retaining clips for the mudguard
-Remove the cable clip B on the front bumper.
If applicable:
-Disconnect the connectors for the outside temperature sensor, horn and headlamp wipers
-Disconnect the washer hose for the headlamp wipers at the T-junction.
-Remove the front engine cover under the engine. Disconnect the connectors for the sidemarker lamps.
If applicable:
-Disconnect the connectors for the fog lamps.
Note! If a parking heater is installed, disconnect the power supply connection at the air cleaner (ACL) and disconnect the ground lead for the parking heater.
-Remove the 2 clips (A) from the front bumper
-Remove the 4 mounting screws for the bumper.
If applicable:
-Fold the headlamp wiper arms forward.
Remove the front bumper assembly.


Installing the front bumper
If applicable:
-Fold the headlamp wiper arms forward
-Install the front bumper
-Install the 2 clips (A) for the front bumper
-Install the 4 mounting screws for the front bumper. Tighten to 40 Nm.
-Connect the connectors for the sidemarker lamps
-Connect the connectors for the fog lamps if applicable
-Install the front engine splash guard under the engine.
Note! If a parking heater is installed, connect the power supply connector at the air cleaner (ACL) and connect the ground lead for the parking heater.
-Install screw A and the right and left retaining clips for the mudguard
-Connect the connectors for the outside temperature sensor, horn and headlamp wipers
-Connect the connectors for the turn signal lamps. Reinstall the turn signal lamps
-Install the covers over the right and left headlamps.
